asked the Minister for Education if he is aware that Westmeath Vocational Education Committee are waiting for approval from his Department for permission to rent office accommodation in Mullingar; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The question of permanent office accommodation for Westmeath Vocational Education Committee is at present under discussion between my Department and the Committee. No specific proposal for the renting of accommodation is at present before my Department for consideration.
