O’Keeffe repeatedly sought a date for the appointments, but the Taoiseach only reiterated that the matter was under consideration. The Chair moved the House to the next question amid procedural interruptions.
This is the second or third occasion on which the matter of these appointments has come up and each time we have been told that the matter is under consideration. Would the Taoiseach once and for all tell us when he expects his deliberations to be completed and when he expects to make these appointments?
