asked the Minister for Agriculture when he intends to repay £907.06p withheld from MCA payments to a person (details supplied) in Ballymena, County Antrim, in view of the evidence that this has been withheld illegally.

As the person concerned has been informed on a number of occasions, this sum was withheld by my Department from MCA payments to him to meet MCA charges on certain exports of live cattle with which he appears to have been connected.
