asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reason for the long delay in having telephone service restored for a firm (details supplied) in Dublin as the loss of service in this case will only result in the loss of jobs.
Comment on this
Service will be restored within the next few days. I regret the delay which is attributable to the number of faults on hand, many of which require attention by specialist staff.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reason for the continuing delay in the installation of a telephone for persons (details supplied) in Stepaside, County Dublin as this telephone is urgently needed because of the home circumstances; and if priority will be given.
Comment on this
It has not been possible to provide service so far for the person named, who applied in February 1982, because of the volume of engineering work on hands and awaiting attention in the 01 area.
Service will be provided as soon as possible but it is unlikely that the necessary cabling will be completed for about a year.

It has not been possible to provide service for the person named so far because of exceptional pressure of engineering work in recent months in the Dingle area. It is expected that service will be provided within the next three weeks or so.
