asked the Minister for Labour the amount borrowed by each State or semi-State body under the aegis of his Department in 1977 and at the latest available date in 1982.

The following is the information sought:

(a) Borrowings by AnCO and CERT are, apart from the the loan referred to in note (b), of a short-term nature, pending receipt of European Social Fund assistance.

(b) In the case of CERT Limited, the figure of £101,281 is a long-term loan obtained for the purchase of its training premises at Roebuck Road, County Dublin. It is included in the 1977 figure.
