asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will request the Land Commission to acquire the Glynn Estate, Lilliput, Bysart, Mullingar, which is on the shores of Lough Ennel, County Westmeath, and offer the owner an alternative holding.

Having regard to the general unsuitability of these lands for the purposes of structural reform the Land Commission are satisfied that steps should not be taken towards their acquisition.
