Roscommon holding subdivision
The Land Commission refused the proposed subdivision because it would create two uneconomic holdings, and suggested less objectionable alternatives.
asked the Minister for Agriculture why subdivision was not granted in the case of a person (details supplied) in Roscommon.
Comment on this
An application by the person referred to was fully considered by the Land Commission but was refused because the proposed subdivision would have resulted in splitting up a viable holding into two uneconomic units. Alternative proposals which would be less objectionable from a land structure viewpoint have been suggested to the owner's solicitors.
