Delays to school building work

Summary

Mr. Noonan asked whether the Department was delaying school building to save money. The Minister rejected that claim and cited the lack of a reply to a letter about land the school chairman was asked to acquire.

I am very glad to reply to the Deputy. The Office of Public Works wrote to the reverend chairman on 3 February 1982 giving details of the land he should acquire. To date there has not been a reply to that letter.
