asked the Taoiseach if he will state in respect of each State or semi-State body under the aegis of his Department (a) the total debt outstanding in each year since 1977 and (b) the amount paid in interest in each year from 1977 to 1983.

The bodies under the aegis of my Department have not had debts outstanding in the years since 1977 and no interest has been paid by them.
