asked the Minister for Labour if he will state in respect of each State or semi-State body under the aegis of his Department (a) the total debt outstanding in each year since 1977 and (b) the amount paid in interest in each year from 1977 to 1983.

1. Borrowings by AnCO and CERT are, apart from the loan referred to at note (2), of a short-term nature, pending receipt of European Social Fund assistance.

2. In the case of CERT the outstanding borrowings include a long-term loan of £101,281 obtained for the purchase of its training premises at Roebuck Road, Dublin.
