East Cork Foods co-operative proposal

Summary

Asked whether the IDA would help establish a co-operative following the decision to close East Cork Foods, the Minister said the IDA would consider proposals and confirmed it was considering this one. The Chair cautioned against pursuing county-specific cases under a general question.

Would the Minister help in setting up a co-operative of East Cork Foods, arising out of a decision of the Government to close down East Cork Foods?
