asked the Minister for Finance if there are any proposals for the erection of a Garda station in Tallow, County Waterford; and, if so, when work is likely to commence.

The existing Garda station in Tallow meets present needs. It is, however, among the stations which are listed for replacement in due course. The Commissioners of Public Works have already been looking for a site for a new station, but it is not possible at this stage to say when new premises might be provided.
