Michael Noonan Minister for Justice (Mr. Noonan Fine Gael

, Limerick East): The number of orders made by the Circuit Court barring spouses from the family home in each of the years 1976 to 1982, inclusive, are set out in the following table.

Notes:

1. Records for Monaghan Circuit Court were destroyed in a fire at the Courthouse in 1981. The above figures do not, therefore, include any Orders made or confirmed in that Country prior to 1982.

2. The figures for 1982 were affected by the dispute in the District Court.
