Gorey new health centre construction
The Minister said he could not yet indicate when planning for the new centre would be sanctioned, pending available capital and the health board’s priorities.
asked the Minister for Health when he will sanction the commencement of construction of a new health centre at Gorey, County Wexford, in view of the out-dated, uncomfortable and limited accommodation that is available and in use at present; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

While I am aware that the present accommodation at Gorey is not satisfactory, unfortunately, I am not yet in a position to indicate when it will be possible to sanction the further planning of the new health centre. A decision in this regard will depend on the availability of capital resources and the priority given to the project by the health board.
