asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware of any legal action taken against the Central Bank by former directors of the Irish Trust Bank Ltd. (in liquidation); if so, if he will give details of any outside court settlement; and the cost of any such settlement to either the Exchequer or the Central Bank.

I am informed by the Central Bank that no legal actions against it was taken by former directors of the Irish Trust Bank Limited, in liquidation. The remaining parts of the Deputy's question, therefore, do not arise.
