Passing interest-rate savings to farmers

Summary

Kirk asked whether savings from lower interest rates could be passed to the 4,400 farmers as a subsidy. The Minister had no current proposal but said it might be considered.

In view of the reduced interest rates would the Minister consider passing on the savings by way of subsidy to the 4,400 farmers who have been dealt with?
