asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry when it is proposed to implement the staff scheme prepared by the central board and unions.

Negotiations on a proposed staff scheme for the staffs of the Central and Regional Fisheries Boards are continuing between my Department, the Central Fisheries Board and the unions concerned. The scheme will be implemented when agreement is reached between the parties concerned.
