Michael D'Arcy Minister of State at the Department of Fisheries and Forestry (Mr. D'Arcy) Fine Gael

My information is that little if any such damage has taken place in this country to date. However, the situation generally in regard to possible effects of acid rain on forests and fish life is being kept under review and in this context my Department are participating, at national and international level, in a number of measures concerned with the study of this subject.
