The up-to-date position in regard to the provision of a new national school at Brooklodge, Glanmire, County Cork, is that my Department have sanctioned a grant towards the cost of the project and that the submission of working drawings is awaited by the Commissioners of Public Works from the school authority's architect.

When was that request made to the school architect?

Comment on this

I am sorry I have not got that information. I will communicate the information to the Deputy if he requires it.

I would appreciate that. For some time I have been trying to get the up to date position on that school. I raised this question previously by way of a letter to the Department. The information was given to Deputies on the Government side and I now find that the information is not available.
