Responsibility for offshore island policy
Molloy challenged the transfer of related questions to the Minister for Finance and sought clarification of who was responsible for island policy. The Chair said Ministers control whether questions are accepted and advised Molloy to specify the matter for the Adjournment; he named Questions 1, 2 and 5.
Why was the other question, which was in tandem with this question, referred to another Minister? Does this mean that matters in regard to islanders are the remit of the Minister for Finance?

The Deputy does not have to make a statement. He should tell me what he wants to raise on the Adjournment. Is it Question No. 1?
