asked the Minister for the Environment the names of persons appointed directors of the Housing Finance Agency under the provisions of the Housing Finance Agency Act, 1981; the fees or salaries and expenses paid to date to each person appointed; and the general scale of fees and expenses payable.

The present directors of the Housing Finance Agency and the fees which they receive are as follows:

*Messrs. Hehir, d'Alton, Heelan, Hurley, O'Connor and O'Leary are public officials.

The salary range for the post of Managing Director is £17,705-£20,742 p.a.

Civil Service rates of travel and subsistence are paid where appropriate. Details of the amount of expenses paid to individual members are a matter for the Agency and are not available in my Department.
