Alan M. Dukes Minister for Finance (Mr. Dukes) Fine Gael

No money is known to have been lost through acts of fraud emanating either from within or outside my Department or the offices under my aegis in the years 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983. Two cases of suspected fraudulent activity in 1982 in the Office of the Revenue Commissioners are at present effectively sub judice.
