Nure scheme and Thomastown delay

Summary

Leyden said the Thomastown scheme was holding up the Nure scheme, affecting 200 applicants, and urged approval of the additional funding. The Minister said an inspector was examining the matter and gave no deadline beyond awaiting the report.

Is the Minister aware that the Nure scheme in respect of 200 applicants has been held up as a result of the Thomastown scheme? There is a serious need for running water in the area. I urge the Minister to approve the additional provision of £22,000, to give the green light to the scheme and to announce when it will be done.
