Timber exports from Donegal to Northern Ireland
The Department lacks records of total timber exports by volume and value, but will provide available figures for State-forest timber purchases by Northern Ireland firms.

My Department's records are not compiled in such form as would give the specific information sought. The best I can do would be to furnish the Deputy with relevant details of timber purchases under the tender system from State forests in County Donegal by firms with Northern Ireland addresses. I have asked that this information be extracted for the years in question and forwarded to the Deputy as quickly as possible.
