Brennan asked whether the emigration figures informed the Building on Reality plan and argued they did not fit other figures in it. Barrett and the Ceann Comhairle treated this as a separate question, leaving it unanswered.
Will the Minister of State tell the House which emigration figures were taken into the assumptions in the formulation of the plan, Building on Reality?

I am asking a question about emigration for 1984 and I want to know if that was the figure that was taken into consideration in the plan, Building on Reality? If it was it does not tie up with a lot of other figures in that plan.
