asked the Minister for the Environment the present position in relation to the payment of a home improvement grant to persons (details supplied) in County Cork.

A grant cannot be allowed in this case because, contrary to the Housing Regulations, 1980 (as amended), notification of completion of work and a claim for payment of the grant were not received in my Department by 30 June 1981.
