asked the Minister for Education if it is proposed to provide a regional technical college in the catchment area of Clonsilla; and, if so, when this will be provided.

The national plan Building on Reality 1984-1987 outlines at paragraph 7.85 the priorities in regard to additional educational facilities in the third level sector. The planning of new regional technical colleges in Blanchardstown, Tallaght and Dún Laoghaire is proceeding. The requirements of the Clonsilla area will, of course, be catered for in the proposed new college at Blanchardstown.
