asked the Minister for Health if he would be prepared to offer financial assistance to the Irish Society for Autistic Children as the ISAC have spent £250,000 to date on the provision of services for autistic persons and as yet have not received any financial support from the Government.

An application for financial assistance is being considered in my Department. I expect to be in a position to reply to them very shortly.
