asked the Minister for Education the up-to-date position regarding the building of the new vocational school in Fermoy, County Cork.

Architectural planning of the new vocational school at Fermoy has been completed and the next step would be the seeking of tenders. However, pending completion of a review of the building programme for second level schools in the context of availability of capital, I am not in a position to say when this case may be released to tender.
