Priority-question supplementary rules
Lenihan said the priority-question rules leave no one able to ask supplementary questions when the named Deputy is absent. The Chair said the parties could reconsider the arrangement, but noted that the gap was deliberate.
I shall be very brief. On priority questions, a lacuna is involved in the recent order made establishing them. Deputy O'Kennedy is not in the country and I understand that, although he is absent, nobody else can stand in his place and ask supplementary questions. There seems to be a gap in the system.

There may be and that can be rethought. Action can be taken if it is so decided by the parties.

No, Deputy. It is for the parties. I do not think this is accidental; it was quite deliberate.
