Question-Time Lottery and Supplementaries
Andrews complained that the lottery unfairly restricted backbenchers’ opportunities, sought another supplementary and asked to raise the matter on the Adjournment; the Chair said he had no discretion and would communicate with him.
I must point out that I have fared very badly in this wretched lottery which is strangling the efforts of backbenchers. Surely in the circumstances I should be allowed to ask a further supplementary?

I know about all that guff. As I am being put off I should like to ask the Chair to consider the possibility of allowing me to raise this matter on the Adjournment. It is the only outlet available to me.
