asked the Minister for Education if she will arrange with CIE to have a person (details supplied) in County Galway collected by the school bus at her home rather than travel unnecessarily to pick-up point some distance from her home which is passed by the bus.

I understand that my Department have recently issued instructions to CIE to provide a home pick-up point for the pupil in question.
