asked the Minister for Finance the up-to-date position regarding the provision of proper and adequate customs facilities at Dundalk, County Louth.

Due to the proposed North-South motorway, plans for a combined imports-exports customs station have to be reconsidered. In the meantime a new truck park is being constructed at Carrickcarnan and plans for an extension of the public office at Newry Road are being examined.
