asked the Minister for the Environment the number of houses involved in the new housing scheme at Ardee, County Louth and when building will commence.

The proposed new housing scheme at Townparks, Ardee, will consist, in its first phase, of 43 houses and seven private sites. The present position in relation to the scheme is that a lay-out and house and cost plans were approved by my Department, subject to some technical and cost modifications, on 26 March 1986 and it is now a matter for Louth County Council to invite tenders.
