asked the Minister for Education when finance will be made available for long overdue extensions to (a) the boys' national school and (b) the Presentation Convent girls' national school at Mooncoin, County Kilkenny, and if he will now state whether these developments will commence before the commencement of the next school year.

My Department has arrangements in hands for the invitation of tenders for the proposed extensions to the boys' national school and the Presentation Convent national school at Mooncoin, County Kilkenny. It is expected that the normal advertisements will appear in the daily press at an early date.
