The Minister said there had been no avoidable departmental delay and, after meeting the group’s deputation, confirmed work would start immediately.

There has been no avoidable delay by my Department in dealing with this scheme. I met a deputation from this group last week and I am happy to say they are starting work on this scheme immediately.
