asked the Minister for Health if his Department has details of the number of still births which occurred this year in the Louth-Meath area.

The number of still births which occurred this year in the Louth-Meath area is not yet available. Preliminary figures for 1985 indicate that the number of still births to mothers resident in counties Louth and Meath were ten and 18 respectively. These figures are provisional and subject to alteration.
