asked the Minister for Agriculture when a decision will be taken on an application for the division of the Altashane Bog, Carndonagh, County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am not at present in a position to indicate when the field and other work in this division can be completed having regard to the reduced strength of the field staff following the assignment of a number of them to the farm classification office.
