asked the Minister for Defence whether, in the light of his reply of 12 November 1985, the stage for inviting tenders for the erection of Cavan Military Barracks has been reached.

Considerable progress has been made in the design and planning of the new barracks and it is hoped to invite tenders for the project in the near future.
