asked the Minister for Justice if the new Tallaght Garda station when open will be a divisional headquarters station.

There are five Garda divisions in the Dublin Metropolitan Area. Tallaght is part of the southern division which has its headquarters at Crumlin Garda station and there are no plans to move the divisional headquarters from there. Each division is made up of a number of Garda districts and Tallaght comes within the district which at present has its headquarters at Rathfarnham station. It is my intention to make the station at Tallaght the headquarters for his district as soon as the new station under construction there is completed.
