asked the Minister for the Environment when the contract documents for Stage 2 of the Rockshire Sewerage Scheme will be approved; and if it is his intention to provide funding for this scheme in 1987.

While there will be no avoidable delay in dealing with the matter. I am not yet in a position to say when I will be able to give a decision on this scheme, contract documents for which are under examination in my Department. The question of providing funding for the scheme would not arise until the completion of the tendering process.
