Patrick Mark Cooney Minister for Education (Mr. Cooney) Fine Gael

A pilot project on the use of computers in national schools, as referred to in the Programme for Action in Education, commenced in September 1984 and has recently been completed. The final report of the project will be available shortly, and I will make a statement on the matter after my Department has examined the report's findings and recommendations.
