asked the Minister for Tourism, Fisheries and Forestry the present position in relation to the Moulnahorna commonage, a portion of which has been taken over by his Department; and if he intends to pursue the matter further and acquire the full area involved.

It has not been possible so far to reach agreement with all the shareholders in the commonage lands at Moulnahorna, County Cork, with a view to acquiring the lands for afforestation. It is the intention of my Department, however, to renew their efforts in the near future to reach such agreement.
