Cullen proposed private franchises for Dublin routes not fully served by CIE and asked whether the Minister would study the idea. The Minister said he had no study underway and was not considering one.
In the light of the Minister's reply and the high cost of this burden to the State, would he consider offering franchises to private bus owners to operate routes in the Dublin area which are not fully serviced by CIE?
