Public health nurse staffing in the Southern region 2 speeches

The Minister said the Department had received no specific proposal from the Southern Health Board to increase public health nurse numbers; an earlier request for more community care funding was merely noted.

A resolution of the board for an increased community care services allocation was received by my predecessor in July 1986. It was merely noted.

My Department have not, however, received specific proposals from the Southern Health Board for an increase in the numbers of public health nurses.
