‹ Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Government Conservation Policies. Fishing rights off the south-west coast
Summary
Sheehan sought an Adjournment debate on Spanish flag-of-convenience boats allegedly preventing Irish vessels from fishing off the south-west coast; the Chair said he would communicate with him.
I wish to raise on the Adjournment the serious situation in the fishing grounds off the south-west coast where Spanish boats operating under a flag of convenience are prohibiting Irish boats from availing of their right to fish in these lucrative grounds.
