asked the Minister for Health the amount of money allocated to the health boards for the years 1985 to 1987, inclusive, and to the voluntary hospitals for the same years.

May I refer the Deputy to Parliamentary Question No. 2 of 30 April 1987, in relation to the years 1986 and 1987. In 1985 the health boards received a total of £721.294 million (excluding expenses of the General Medical Services (Payments) Board) and a total of £273.024 million was allocated to the voluntary hospitals.
