asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the replacement of the 21 year old pre-fabricated classrooms with a new building at Saint Colman's vocational school, Gort, County Galway.

The question of the rationalisation of post primary facilities in Gort has been under examination in my Department for some time. The question of replacement of the pre-fabricated classrooms referred to cannot be considered independently of this examination. As soon as the examination is completed, I will announce my decision in the matter.
