asked the Minister for Social Welfare when a children's allowance book will be made available to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

An application for child benefit was received from the person concerned on 27 October 1987 in respect of his two children who now reside with him. The appropriate child benefit book, payable from September 1987, was issued on 25 November 1987 to the GPO Kilkenny. It has now been confirmed that he has collected this book.
