Written Answers. - Budget Allocation for Schools.

asked the Minister for Education if an increase in the local contribution from boards of management of primary schools is a factor in determining which school will be selected for improvement or replacement arising from the meagre budget allocation for this purpose; if her Department has entered into discussion with representatives from such schools; and if she will make a statement of the matter.

An increase in the local contribution is not a factor in determining which primary schools will receive grants towards the cost of improvement or replacement.
